I either wanna stop being that friend that is always there or have someone that does the same for me but i cant keep investing so much time and energy into other people’s well being if im always just gonna end up feeling burned out and uncared for

I much rather be that asshole friend that never answers than to ever find myself again in crisis and have no one pick up the phone

I just never fucking learn every time i tell myself that im gonna stop being other people’s crying shoulder if they can’t do the same for me, that i deserve kindness aswell but i truly love my friends and i cant bring myself to not be there for them i dont wanna be that person but if i dont become that person im gonna set myself on fire

I much rather be in a constant state of loneliness that i can justify to myself as a healing period than to keep falling into this false feeling of solidarity that always ends up being one sided

Half-witted?

• She was a senator.
• She orchestrated the political movement that would later become the rebel alliance.
• When told of her own death she reacted with her intellect and not her emotions.
• She faced Darth Vader alone.
• She challenged Palpatine’s power.
  
• She was pregnant, kept a full-time job, always looked like a fashion icon and was working on a political alliance to remove Palpatine from power on her free time.
• She was the first one to realize that Republic had become the evil they were fighting to destroy.
